Nicky "Nick" Joseph Divietro

A memorial service for Nicky “Nick” Joseph Divietro, 79, will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 529 Parklane Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana.

Nick was born on December 9, 1946, to Pat Joe and Barbara Smith Divietro in Elkhart, Indiana, and passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Originally from Michigan, he moved to Louisiana in 1979, where he quickly acclimated to the southern way of life and made it his home. He spent many years working for the Skyline Corporation, where he formed many friendships and built a strong reputation through his dedication and hard work. In time, he started his own business, Nick’s Mobile Home Service, and through years of commitment and effort, he was able to retire early. He enjoyed his retirement by piddling around the house and organizing the vast contents of his shop, always keeping himself busy with projects that mattered to him.

He found enjoyment in deer hunting, bass fishing, and spending time outdoors. On a good day, you might even catch him pulling weeds in the front yard, tending to the things he cared about. He will be greatly missed by the family who loves him and the friends who were fortunate to know him. His presence will be remembered with gratitude and love.

Nick was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Quin Divietro, and his father, Pat Divietro. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Divietro; son, Pat Divietro and girlfriend, Sara Dews; daughter, Nichole Divietro Heath and husband, Matthew; grandson, Dominic Curnutte; brother, Mike Divietro and wife, Vickie, and nephew, Victor Divietro.
