Nicki Jean Bozeman

On June 26, 2023, our mother, “Ms. Nicki” J. Bozeman, joined our father, James Bozeman, and her heart was healed forever.

Ms. Nicki’s services will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the services will be Pastor Chad Harbarger, pastor of First Baptist Church of Mansfield.
 
Nicki was born on February 19, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Dominick and Dorothy Messina and had a loving stepfather, Stanton Carroll. She passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 in Shreveport.

Nicki worked several jobs but she is mostly known for being a door greeter at Walmart. Her warm, genuine smile made her famous. Her hobbies were scrapbooking, picture taking and enjoying family gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Bozeman; and brother, Bruce Carroll. Left to cherish her memory are her children; daughters, Tammy Young and husband, Scott, Becky Brossette and husband, Daryl; sons, Charles Bozeman and wife, Tracy, and Rodney Bozeman; grandchildren, Nicole and John Harper, Tess Young, Natasha and Jared Rider, PJ and Anna Brossette, Hunter and Madison Brossette, and Hannah Brossette; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Harper, Taylor Harper, Isabelle Forward, and Amelia Rider; two great-great-grandchildren, Dallas James Brossette, and Brody McKay Young. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Lewis, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Honoring Ms. Nicki as pallbearers will be Phillip Brossette, Hunter Brossette, Van Lewis, Joshua McRae, Jacob McRae, and Jared Rider.

The family would like to express special thanks to the 2^nd Floor nurses at Christus Highland Hospital, the staff at Garden Park Nursing Home, and Hospice for the wonderful care, compassion and love given to our mom.
