Nicholas "NICK" Toms

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Nicholas "NICK" Joseph Randall Toms, 23, will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. Nicholas was born April 17, 1997 to Tina Gayle Toms and James Theodore Toms, Jr. in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on January 23, 2021 in Shreveport. Nicholas was known for being very respectful, charming and personable. He loved music and almost all outdoor activities, four-wheeling and shooting guns. His beautiful blue eyes and corky smile will be deeply missed but lives on through others with the help of LOPA. Mom instilled in Nicholas to listen to music to figure out problems in life. He loved to live life to the fullest. Nicholas was a resident of Shreveport and worked as a landscape specialist. He attended the YCP (Youth Challenge Program) in Carville, Louisiana and graduated with four stars. He is preceded in death by uncles, Samuel Shaw and Clifford Meshell Sr.; and grandmother, Nancy Lee Toms. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Tina Gayle Toms; step-father, Joe "Jeep" White; grandfather, James T. Toms, Sr.; brother, Daniel Toms and family; step-brother, Chaden White and family; half-brother, Theodore Toms; half-sister, Ashley Toms and family; numerous other family members and close friends.
