Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Nell Turner, 81, of New Iberia, LA will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel with Brother Wilton Anthony officiating; interment will immediately follow at Little Flock Cemetery in Many, LA. A visitation for her will be held before the funeral from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Nell was born October 9, 1939 in Converse, LA to Esta (Langton) Vines and Ralph Vines and she entered into rest on March 15, 2021 in Bossier City, LA. Nell was a true business lady; some of her endeavors included owning several restaurants throughout Sabine Parish. Her main profession and love were that of being a Mary Kay Sales Representative for 22 years throughout the state. Her sales regions in Louisiana included Houma, Lafayette, and Many; she would accommodate customers in any location that were interested in any of Mary Kay's line of beauty products. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Vines; her husband, Jimmy Turner; her stepson, Ernie Turner; her sister, Elaine (Causey) Elliot; her brother, Kirk Vines, and her granddaughter, Tara Lee Tate. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Keith Tate of Shreveport, LA, Shane Tate & fiancé, Debbie of New Iberia, LA, and Jim Turner & wife, Diane of Sulphur Springs, TX; her daughters, Jennifer Turner Rayborn & husband, Jerry of Laurel, MS, and Julie Turner Ezzell & husband, Jessie of Laurel, MS; her grandchildren, Maegan Tate, Micheal Rayborn, Jeremy Rayborn (Julie), Alisa Rayborn Hamilton (Tyler), Janice Foster (Donald), Jennifer Rader (Justin), Sean McLemore (Brittany), Pamela Ceccarelli, Micheal Turner, and Autumn Turner; and her great granddaughter, Layla Tate. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Doug Wright, Steve Riser, Greg Vines, Tyler Hamilton, Bradley Vines, and Jeremy Rayborn. Condolences can be made online to the family at www.rose-neath.com.
