Shreveport, LA - Naomi Harrell Harper age 84, carried on angels wings to her Heavenly home on April 8, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mrs. Harper was born to Jewell and Edith Harrell on September 22, 1935 in Hodge, Louisiana. She was a housewife and a member of King's Temple United Pentecostal Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, but her specialty was pecan pies for family and friends. She kept her grandkids and loved spending time with them as often as possible. She never met a stranger, but would always make sure the doors were locked. We know Heaven gained a new gate keeper.

She is survived by her daughters, Beckie McMurray, Ann Franklin, Gina Phillips, Donna Moore and husband Michael; son, Gary Harper; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, J.B. Harrell and numerous nieces and nephews.
