Nancy Winslett Nichols

Funeral services celebrating the life of Nancy Winslett Nichols, 77, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Coushatta, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Ramah Cemetery in Ashland, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Nancy was born November 3, 1947, in Ashland, Louisiana to Nelvin and Carl Winslett and entered into rest on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Nelvin and Carl Winslett and brother, Charles Winslett. Nancy was a beloved mother and a cherished friend to many who will truly be missed. Her impact on others cannot be understated. Those who knew Nancy will remember her deep devotion to her family and her faith in Jesus Christ. She happily spent the last year of her life with her soulmate, Billy, and their yorkie, Lilly Mae.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rodney Reed (Norma) and Chad Reed (Julie); daughter, Carla Singer (Reagan); grandchildren, Ethan Reed, Paul Reed, Clayton Reed, Grayson Singer, Paige Singer, and Whitney Pelayo; her soulmate, Billy Rex Thomas; and their beloved yorkie, Lilly Mae.

Honoring Nancy as pallbearers will be Ethan Reed, Paul Reed, Clayton Reed, Grayson Singer, Rodney Reed, and Reagan Singer. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Reed and Billy Rex Thomas.
