Nancy Moore

Nancy Lee Moore, 89, of Bossier City, Louisiana entered eternal rest on June 18, 2024. She was born in Coushatta, Louisiana on April 3, 1935. She was a woman of great faith and a member of Bellaire Baptist Church. Nancy was a loving mother and adoring grandmother who took great pride in her family and loved spending time with them. She was a graduate of Northwestern State University and spent 28 years as an RN at WKMC. Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed reading her Bible daily.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tammy Harper and husband, Ricky; sons, Paul Remedies and wife, Brenda, and Richard Remedies and wife, Patty; granddaughters, Heather, Elizabeth, Shelli, Amanda, Lacy, Kristy, and Allie; grandsons, Paul Allen, Ronnie, Kevin, and Matthew; 17 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Nancy in death were her husbands, George Remedies, Harry Stewart, and Cameron Moore; parents, Clarence and Hattie Sessions; sister, Elizabeth; brothers, Raymond, George, Alva, and J.R.; children, Bubba, Susie, Sheree, and Danny; and grandchild, Blake.

A service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Dr. Randy Harper will officiate the service. Interment will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport.

Honoring Nancy as pallbearers will be Paul and Paul Allen Remedies, Lewis and Kevin Allgood, and Ricky and Matthew Harper. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie and Wesley Remedies.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Gideons International.
