On December 18, 2021, Nancy Jane Hill (61) was called home.
She was a much-loved woman and has placed a wonderful memory in so many people. Nancy absolutely loved life and when she was around you knew it. She has always been called "the life of the party." Her heart was so full of love for everyone that loved her and she showed it to everyone in their own special way.
Nancy recently gained a huge passion for Kayaking. She loved the water and floating for hours. She absolutely loved cooking and baking and she could sure bake. The excitement of watching her favorite cooking shows always ended with a new dish or baked good.
Nancy was a very loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt and friend. If you needed anything she would do all she could to help. There are a lot of people that have a special place in their hearts for her. She never met a stranger, from trash-men to mail carriers, to the nursing staff and coworkers. You meant something to her from the first handshake or hug.
Nancy had an excellent career with Inland Containers and retired from International Paper after 22 years.
Nancy is survived by her wife, Rita Hill, daughter, Tomi Lynn Coleman; son-in-law, Michael Coleman; sister, Sharon Seekins,; brother, Max and Joe Hill; grandchildren, Payton and Emma York, Oliver Coleman, and Sean and Jane Coleman. She was also blessed with numerous nephews and nieces and close friends.
Nancy fought long and hard with several medical issues. She was one of the strongest women you could ever know. Her smile and love will be deeply missed. We hope heaven is ready for the party they just received. Rock on Nancy. We love you.
