Myrtis Louise Owens

Shreveport, LA - Myrtis "Louise" Owens age 81, entered into rest with her Heavenly Father on June 20, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Louise was so loved by everyone she met. She had such a sweet spirit and was an inspiration to all. Mrs. Owens was born to Clarence and Marjorie Webb on August 3, 1938. Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Pendleton; grandson, Jason Pendleton; parents; brothers, Clarence Whittington Webb, Jr., Donald Wesley Webb. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Edward Owens; sisters, Patsy Moore and husband Robert "Bob" L., Brenda Almand and husband Billy Ray, Charlotte Bickley and husband Gene; brother, Kenneth Webb; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Bob Moore will be officiating the service. A Private Graveside services will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA. Friends who can't make the service may sign the guest book at Rose Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana.
