Mutsuko Beck, 75, was born on August 22, 1949, to Zakimi Seiei and Zakimi Hideko in Chatan-Cho, Okinawa, Japan, and passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Mutsuko Beck was a bright and caring woman whose quiet strength and love of learning shaped her life and those around her. Born in Okinawa, Japan, she later moved to the United States, where she studied accounting at a community college in Florida—building a future grounded in knowledge, hard work, and purpose.

On July 1, 1975, she married Thomas E. Beck, beginning a lifelong journey filled with love, laughter, and shared devotion. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and memories that her family will always treasure.

Mutsuko found joy in the simple, beautiful things—curling up with a good book, creating with her sewing machine, and cheering on her favorite football team, the University of Florida Gators. She had a quiet passion for life and brought comfort to others just by being herself.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steady love, and the kindness she offered so freely. The warmth she gave to the world lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Mutsuko was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas E. Beck. (December 2021) She is survived by her siblings, Lisa Yoko Knadler, Zakimi Moriaki, Niki Spalty, Kinjo Kayoko, Zakimi Chiyori, Watanabe Michiko, and Zakimi Moro, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
