Graveside services honoring the life of Murvell Douglas Billingsley, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Grove Hill Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Richard Tull. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Murvell was born on July 15, 1939 in Logansport, Louisiana to Murvell Douglas Billingsley, Sr. and Ruth Green Billingsley. He entered into eternal rest on May 7, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Preceding Murvell are his parents, Murvell and Ruth Billingsley; wife, Patricia Flanagan; and brother, Ralph Billingsley. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Billingsley; sister, Shirley Camp; niece, Leslie Green; nephews, Chris Billingsley and Michael Moore; and cousins, Doug Green and Bubba English. Honoring Murvell as pallbearers will be Doug Green, Bubba English, Jeff Heard, Robert Palmer, Jarrett Palmer, and Tommy Hall.
