Funeral services for Mr. Murphy David Clarke III will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville with Father Luke LaFleur officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.   Mr. Clarke, age 48, of Plaucheville, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was preceded in death by one son, Justin David Clarke.   Murphy was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He had a larger than life personality and you could not help but smile when you were around him.   Survivors include his wife, Rachel Borrel Clarke of Plaucheville; three sons, Murphy David Clarke IV of Plaucheville, Joshua David Clarke of Cottonport, Ben David Clarke of Plaucheville; parents, Murphy David Clarke Jr., and Geraldine Kidder Clarke of Plaucheville; two sisters, Amy Clarke Bennett of Alexandria and Tara Clarke Warren of Marksville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.
