Frank was born on February 11, 1958, to Frank Adrian Pummer and Juanita Arlene Pummer in Lincoln, Nebraska, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Doyline, Louisiana.
Frank was a man of deep faith, unwavering service, and joyful spirit. An ordained Bishop with the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, he devoted his life to ministry, leadership, and the love of God. Whether serving as a church clerk, worship leader, or stepping into the pulpit to pastor, he carried his calling with humility and grace.
Frank proudly served in the United States Air Force for 24 years, retiring as an E-7 Master Sergeant. His commitment to excellence and integrity matched his dedication to duty and country. After his military retirement, he continued to work full-time with Deep South, where he gave another 23 years of faithful service before retiring once more.
In 1993, Frank married the love of his life, Penny Cutchall Pummer. Their 32-year union was filled with laughter, devotion, and adventure. Together, they shared a passion for cruising the ocean, camping under the stars, and spending cherished time with family and friends.
Frank’s heart was anchored in the Lord, and his joy was contagious. He loved fishing, telling jokes, and lifting the spirits of those around him. His compassion ran deep, and his laughter was a gift to all who knew him.
Frank’s legacy is one of faith, family, and fellowship. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Penny, his family, his church community, and all whose lives he touched with kindness and humor.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Juanita Pummer, and his sister, Keo Jean Sedinis.
