Misty D. Lay

The family encourages the wearing of masks. A celebration of life for Misty D. Lay will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Depot in Arcadia. Misty was born July 24, 1979 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Kim and Barbara Lay. She entered into rest November 28,2020 in Alabama. She is preceded in death by her dad, Kim Lay, and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Lay, children, Valerie Lay and Caleb Howard, brother, Phillip Lay and wife Jody, nephews, Tristan and Aidan Lay, boyfriend Kyle Hickman, and many loving friends and family. Misty was employed as a secretary for the Lincoln Parish Highway Department. Her children were her pride and joy. She was a devoted LSU fan and loved and lived life to the fullest. She was always smiling and and in a good mood. She had a unique way of dealing with people and was loved by all who knew her.
