Miss Susan Eileen Brown

SHREVEPORT, LA - On Saturday, November 5, 2016, God called Susan Eileen Brown, 72, home to Heaven. Graveside services celebrating Susan's life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Forest Park West Cemetery, with Rev. Kelly Berne of Love Chapel United Methodist Church will be officiating. Susan was born March 13, 1944 in Jena, LA to Clay Charles Brown and Geneva Gladys Parker Brown. She loved sitting up at night to watch documentaries with her sister, and loved the Lord with all her heart. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Geneva Brown, her brother, Charles Brown, and niece, Tracy Pardue; left to cherish her memory are her sister, Paula Flynn and husband, Don; brother, Richard Brown and wife, Marsha, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital and the staff at The Grace Home for all the help, care and support they gave to Susan. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made in Susan's memory to Love Chapel United Methodist Church, 2001 Forest Hills Blvd., Haughton, LA 71037.
