Miriam Louise Brown Dillon passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. She was born January 19, 1939 to Henry and Louise Brown.

Miriam graduated with honors from Bossier High School in 1956, attended Louisiana Tech University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, and graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1962. Miriam lived many years in Baton Rouge, LA and Atlanta, GA before returning to Baton Rouge in 2020. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and the stock market, spending time in Hilton Head, SC and enjoying her family.

Miriam was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Ernest Ray Dillon; her sister, Julia Brown Joffrion; and her parents. She is survived by son, Patrick Dillon of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Leslie Kilpatrick and husband, Barry of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Henry Brown of Shreveport, LA; sister-in-law, Jocelyn Precht and husband, Mike of Dallas, TX; granddaughters, Emily Kilpatrick Antony and husband, Mitch of Shreveport, LA and Erin Kilpatrick Downs and husband, Bradley of Baton Rouge, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service honoring the life of Miriam will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, LA. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. in the cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard Street, Monroe, LA 71203.
