Mira R Sepulvado

Services celebrating the life of Mira Rene' Remedies Sepulvado, 57, will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Monday, June 25, 2018 with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mira was born in Zwolle, LA on May 21, 1961 to parents Jack and Lorine Grace Remedies. She passed away at her home from a battle with lung cancer on June 22, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Mira was a dedicated Wife, Mama, Mimi, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She was a devoted nurse and touched the lives of her patients and co-workers over the 28 years that she was employed at Many Healthcare. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking for family, friends, and patients. When she became computer savvy, turned into quite a genealogy enthusiast. Above all, nothing made her light up like the sight of her grandchildren. They were her greatest treasures. Mira is survived by her husband of 35 years, Marty Sepulvado; her children, Randy Sepulvado and wife, Colette of Keithville, LA, Darla LaRoux and husband, Waylon of Zwolle, LA, and Josh Sepulvado and wife, Paige of Negreet, LA; 6 grandchildren, Gracie Jo LaRoux, Ava Claire Sepulvado, Aiden Kai Sepulvado, Quistan Breez LaRoux, Emma Kate Sepulvado, and Teegan Rene' Sepulvado; one brother, Jack Remedies Jr. and wife, Sally; 6 sisters, Ruth King, Jo Ann Collins, Nancy Cook, Margaret Lee, LaRonda Seymore and husband, Cecil, and Lucille Remedies; her work family at Many Healthcare, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mira was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, James Wilburn Remedies, and her sister, Nora Jean Sepulvado. The family would like to express thanks to the Hospice of Natchitoches for wonderful care of Mira. Pallbearers honored to serve are Tony Jack Remedies, Larry Sepulvado, Dalton Sepulvado, TJ Remedies, Justin Sepulvado, Fernando Meshell and Reed Jeter. Honorary pallbearers are the staff at Many Healthcare. The family requests a visitation to be held at Roseneath Funeral Home in Many, LA on Sunday, June 24.
