Milton Gordon “Mit” Bauldree, age 88, was born in El Dorado, AR, on October 5, 1934, to Joseph W. and Nina G. Murphy Bauldree. He entered into rest on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in Homer, LA. Mr. Bauldree served the country he loved in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by the U.S. Post Office and retired, he was a 50-year Mason, a Professional Bass Fisherman and had won many awards from Bass Tournaments. A service will be held on  Monday, February 20, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at the Northwest Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery in Keithville, near Shreveport, LA.

Mr. Bauldree was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria Jean Lewis Bauldree; six half-siblings, Volley Bauldree, Retha Pickering, Velma Coldwell, Bythe Norris, Travis Bauldree, and Dorothy Jerry; and three siblings, Joe David Bauldree, Esther Dagg, and Barbara Boyd.  

He is survived by his two sons, James Bauldree and wife Connie of Bryant, AR, and Alan Bauldree and wife Charlotte of Homer, LA; daughter, Marcia A. Smith and husband Randy of Winslow, AR; three siblings, Virginia DeLoach, Donald Bauldree, and Phillip Bauldree; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grand; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Bauldree’s family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Clint Butler and Dr. White, Claiborne Rehab, Ruston Regional Specialty Hospital, Bristol Hospice of Minden, LA, and all their staffs for the care and compassion he received in their care.

In lieu of flowers honoring Mr. Bauldree, his family suggested memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Children’s Hospital of Little Rock, AR.
