Mildred "Polly" Shows

Memorial services for Mildred "Polly" Ott Shows, 84, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Pastor David Venable and Pastor Lance Rolland officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Mildred was born January 4, 1935 in Pleasant Hill, LA and went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2019 with her husband of 60 years by her side. She a childhood polio survivor and a two-time breast cancer survivor and polio. She will be greatly missed by all. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Maudie Ott; sisters, Julia, Louise, and Sue; brother, A.F. Jr.; and son-in-law, Steve Huckabee. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Claudie J. Shows; daughter, Becky Huckabee; grandchildren, Dutch Huckabee, Rachel and Richard Lee, Sarah and David Ferguson, and Laci and Jeffrey Lock; and great-grandchildren, Austin Ferguson, Avalon Lee, Airen Ferguson, Jennie Locke, Staci Ferguson, Dalton Lee, and Levi Locke with two more great-grandchildren due in October; and a host of extended family and friends.
