Michelle Marie Dauzat

A funeral service for Michelle Marie Dauzat will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville, officiated by Reverand Keith Lamartiere. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until time of service. Burial will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery in Hessmer.

Michelle Marie Dauzat, age 56, born on June 2, 1969, of Hessmer, passed away on August 13, 2025.

She was proceeded in death by her son, Harold Paul Dauzat, Jr., and parents, Evans and Eugenia Juneau.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, Harold P. Dauzat, Sr. of Hessmer; daughter, Danielle Guidroz (Chad) of Hessmer; brother, Evans Juneau, Jr. of Hessmer, two grandchildren, Conner and Payton “Paypay” Guidroz also of Hessmer as well as numerous family and friends.

Michelle found her greatest happiness in the beauty of the outdoors and the life she built around it. Her two cherished grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them—sharing stories, laughter, and unconditional love. She was an avid gardener, tending to her roses and plants with care and patience, and she had a natural way with animals—especially her fur baby “Little Man”, whose companionship brought her comfort and joy every day.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Chad Guidroz, Evans Juneau, Jr., Tracy Dauzat, Ricky Nesbet, Mickey Lachney Danny Gauthier, Jr. and Danny Gauthier, Sr.
