Michael Curtis Stewart

Michael Curtis Stewart, 68, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on November 4, 1957, in Newman, Georgia, and spent most of his life in Picayune, Mississippi.

 Michael worked as a welder for many years and was known to family and friends as Mike. 

He was preceded in death by his father, John “Big John” Stewart. 

He is survived by his wife, Susan Stewart, whom he married in 1977; his sons, Timothy Stewart (Lacey), Anthony “Tony” Stewart (Brittani) and Nicholas Cribb; his grandchildren, Lillie Stewart, Gracie Stewart, Easton Stewart, Owen Stewart, Swayzie Cribb, Coen Cribb, and Bexley Cribb. 

He is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Loraine Mitchell, who was a mother figure to him for many years and held a special place in his life.
