Michael David Pappa

Funeral services for Michael David Pappa, 62, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Bro. Bob Moore officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Michael was born September 25, 1956 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2019. He loved to collect baseball cards and study their history. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Beattie Gallaway and grandmother, Josephine Papa. Left to cherish his memory are his father and stepmother, Johnny and Linda Pappa; sisters, Lori Burks and Donna Pappa; brother, Danny Stough; and his cat, Milo. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Willis-Knighton South, especially his nurses Karen and Christy. Mike was a gentle soul with a big heart who loved his mom and dad above all else and will be missed by his whole family.
