Michael H. Miller

Funeral services for Michael Hix Miller, 54, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the funeral home. Michael was born January 30, 1965 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2019. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Miller and BJ Plater. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Sid Miller; sons, Johnny Miller (Jennifer) and Todd Miller; grandchildren, Keira Miller, Andrew Miller, and Remington "Dirt Dobber" Miller; sisters, Nancy Miller-Hathorn (Randy) and Kim Byrd (Scott); brother, Paul Miller (Jackie "Big Sis"); close friends, Bubba Vines (Tara) and Mark Wilson (April); and numerous nephews. Honoring Michael as pallbearers will be Todd Miller, Johnny Miller, Mark Wilson, Bubba Vines, Cody Tedder, Kenny Barker, Chandler Shields, and Jimmy Russell. A special thanks to Charles Lazarus for all of his life lessons.
