Cotton Valley Melvin Richard Lewis Graveside services for Melvin Richard Lewis will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Cotton Valley Cemetery in Cotton Valley, Louisiana with Rev. Larry Earhart officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m until 1 p.m. Friday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Melvin was born June 7, 1932 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest October 8, 2016 in Springhill, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife Alice Faye Lewis of Cotton Valley, mother Katie Buford of Minden, sons, Melvin Richard Lewis, Jr. of Vivian, Frank Lynn Busby of Cotton Valley, and Tracy Warren Busby of Blanchard, daughters, Annette Lewis of California, Donna Wilson of Dixie Inn, Michelle Scott of Minden, Dana Lewis of Minden, and Carla Gantt of Shreveport, sisters, Donna Crossland of Arkansas, Mary Koester of Florida, Barbara Buford of Bossier City, Francis Buford of Tennessee, brothers, Hershel Buford of Haughton and Bobby Buford of Minden, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
