Funeral services for Melinda Ann McCarty will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Michael Stanaland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Melinda was born February 7, 1982, in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest September 20, 2021 in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Dick; niece, Alyssa Woodard, and dear friend, Ashley Walker. She is survived by her husband, Justin McCarty of Evergreen; father, Mike Dick and fiancé Tanya Tyson; sons, Hunter Walton, Jakob McCarty, and Hayden Walton all of Evergreen; daughter, Madison Walton of Groesbeck, Texas; sister, Angela Stanaland and husband Michael of Minden, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David McCarty, Justin McCarty, Aron Sumrall, Caleb Brooks, Douglas Lazarus, and James Nicholson. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
