Mattye Ruth Koon

A graveside service celebrating the life of Mattye Ruth Koon, 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. 

Mattye was born on July 5, 1948, in Mansfield, Louisiana to Albert Jordan Bonds and Wyomia Richardson and passed away December 12, 2024, in Mansfield, Louisiana. 

Mattye was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Wyomia Bonds; and sisters, Mary Ann Hatcher and Janie Kay Thibodeaux. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Koon; son, Kevin Dean Robbins (Ashlee); daughters, Kristine McMellon (Sherman) and Korine Koon (Fiancé Lane Burns); brother, Charles Bonds and wife Lucy; grandchildren, Kayln Robles (Jorge), Kassie Robbins (Khris), Kevin B. Robbins, Madison Vosbury (Andrew), Kolton McMellon, Monty Castillo and Madeline Castillo; great grandchildren, Julian Robles, Evelyn Robles and Presley Edwards.
