Funeral services honoring the life of Mason "Mace" Slabaugh will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Airline Drive Church of Christ, 2125 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Officiating the service will be Airline Drive Church of Christ Youth Minister, John Dollar. Interment will immediately follow the service in Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana.
Mason Slabaugh was born July 13, 1972 in Greenville, Texas to Kieth Lamar Slabaugh and Marilyn Morris Starkey and passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mason was a proud father, incredible cook, master craftsman, and an accomplished guitaritst. He was a man with a big heart and an even bigger smile. He had enormous love for his boys and played the guitar with great passion.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Starkey.
Left to cherish his memory are his father Kieth Slabaugh and wife, Carol; sons, Luke Slabaugh and fiancée, Emily, Zac Clary and wife, Sidney, and Wyatt Slabaugh and his mother, Carrie Timmons; brothers, Jeff Slabaugh and wife, Stacie, and Tony Slabaugh and wife, Carla; sisters, Whitney Ottwell and husband, Jeff, Lisa Paine and husband, Danny, and Jennifer Macho; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Honoring Mace as pallbearers will be Luke Slabaugh, Zac Clary, Jeff Slabaugh, Jeff Slabaugh, Jr., Dalton Slabaugh, Carroll Floyd, and Garrett Faktor.
