Mary "Liz" Tewalt

Mary Elizabeth Tewalt was born on August 5, 1945,  in Converse, Louisiana and entered rest on Monday, April 8, 2024,  in Frisco, Texas.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Ebarb McDonald, and Arthur McDonald; brother, Gene McDonald; and sisters, Arthurine Parker, and Louise Hicks.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 59 years Jerry Tewalt; sons, Charles Tewalt, and Roderick Tewalt (Stephen); daughter, Amy Long (Chad); brother, Roy McDonald; grandchildren, Casi Martin (John), Ryker Long, Arianna Long; great grandchild, Everly Martin, and a host of cousins, friends, and family.

Honoring Liz as pallbearers will be Noel Hicks, Stephen Tewalt, Chad Long, Wesley McDonald, Ryker Long and John Martin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bradley McDonald, Rodney Hicks, Noon Hicks, Jeff Bass and Dale Hicks.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Liz will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2024, at Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church, 4242 Hwy 191, Converse, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Chucky Clark. Interment will follow at Converse Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the church.
