Mary Williams Taylor

A graveside service for Mary Williams Taylor, 81, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Vivian, Louisiana.

Mary was born on January 20, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Earl and Marie Williams and passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Mary was creative, enjoying painting, ceramics, and creating floral arrangements in her free time. Above all she loved her family. To know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sylvester “Frog” Taylor; sisters, Myrlene Foshee and Patricia Fish and brother, Kenneth Burton. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Terry Gene Taylor and wife, Marilyn, Ronald Steven Taylor and Richard Norris Taylor and wife, Eva; grandchildren, Cody Lane Taylor and wife, Tiffany and Megan Catherine Taylor and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Marie Taylor.

Honoring Mary as pallbearers will be Cody Taylor, Richard Taylor, Keith Lee, Doug England, Johnny Smith, and Jason Smith. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Terry Taylor.
