Graveside services for Mary Karen Pruitt will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Lebanon Cemetery in Homer, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Spencer and Rev. Donny Reagan. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021, at Evening Light Tabernacle, 17500 Hwy 371, Minden, Louisiana. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Evening Light Tabernacle. Karen was born October 19, 1958, in Longview, Washington and entered into rest August 4, 2021, in Bossier City, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband, Tim Pruitt of Haynesville; son, Timothy Pruitt (Ruth) of Haynesville; daughters, Lydia Oglesby (Aaron) of Minden, Esther Smith (Jeff) of Homer, and Bethany Dexter (Michael) of Homer; sister, Dennette Pruitt (Dan) of Haynesville; brothers, Jerome Butts (Linda) of Haynesville, Ronnie Butts (Tilda) of Georgia, John Butts (Mary) of Alabama, Rodney Butts of Oklahoma, and Tim Butts (Nancy) of Bossier City; and grandchildren, Adrianna, Luke, Andrew, Aliyah, Katelyn, Jude, William, Drew, Jackson, and Brooke.
