Mary Price Lee

Mary Lee, age 71, of Doyline, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with her husband at her side.

Born on October 1, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Mary was the beloved daughter of Vivian Smith Clark and William Earl Price. Throughout her life, Mary was known for her kindness, unwavering faith, quick sense of humor, generosity, and deep love for her family and work family. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and cared for, whether through a warm conversation, a thoughtful gesture, or one of her comforting home-cooked meals.

Mary dedicated her life to GOD and to spending time with family and friends. She found great joy in riding horses, activities with work family, and being with people she loved. Her home was a place of laughter, familiar traditions, and open doors.

Mary Lou will always be remembered for her gentle strength, infectious laughter, generous spirit, and the way she made every person feel important. The love she shared will continue to live on through all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Mary is survived by her husband, Larry Lee; daughter, Stacey; son, Chris, and his wife, Bri; brothers, Bob Fentress and wife, Jeanie of Shreveport, Bill Fentress and wife, Doreen of Haughton, Buster Fentress and wife, Wanda of Shreveport; and grandchildren, Lauren, Katie, Parker, Britney and Kenneth.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Clark; father, William Price; and aunts, Mary and Georgia.

A celebration of Mary Lou’s life will be held from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana, followed by a funeral procession to Point Chapel Cemetery at the corner of Foreman Rd and Fuller St (LA 163) in scenic Doyline, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org, in Mary Lou’s memory.

Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6:

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths, and knew how to live it.

Mary may be gone from our sight, but her love, memories, and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
