Mary Ann Phillips

Funeral services for Mary Ann Price Phillips, 96, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Brother Kendall Holly officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at the funeral home. Mary was born November 17, 1922 in Benson, LA and went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2019. She was a member of Broadacres Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and teaching children in Sunday school class. She loved her family and friends and getting to spend time with everyone during family reunions. Mary was preceded in death by her father, George William Price; mother, Beulah Daisy Burr Price; and siblings, Homer Chism, Johnny Price, Alvin Price, George Price, and James Price. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles Terrell Phillips and wife Ollie and Randall Calvin Phillips and wife Regina; daughter, Gwendolyn Joyce Phillips Lee and husband Tom; sister, Ellouise Walker; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
