A private visitation for Mary Heather Norrell, 89, known to everyone as "Molly," will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside with a private burial following at Forest Park West cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Andy Harris.
Molly was born in Swindon, England on July 31, 1932 to Reginald and Gwendoline Wilkins and passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Molly was a resident of Shreveport and a homemaker. Molly and her husband, Jim, were charter members of Broadmoor Assembly of God (now known as Gateway Church) in Shreveport where Molly enjoyed teaching the Junior Girls Sunday School Class for 42 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Harold Norrell; father and mother; beloved stepfather, Walter Hughes; brother, Thomas Wilkins and wife, Sylvia Wilkins and brother, Mervyn Hughes. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Teresa Lynn Norrell McCastlain and Sharon Denise Norrell Harmon and husband, Chris Harmon; grandchildren, Jocelyn Nicole Midyett, Kandyce Lea Midyett, Tiffany Shae Wooley Clason and husband, Stuart Clason, Corey James Wooley and wife, Jamie Wooley; great-grandchildren, Michael Alexander Kemp, Elena Wooley, Cash Clason, Lucas Wooley, Margaux Clason, and Nathaniel Wooley; brother, Alan Wilkins and wife, Helen; sisters, Carol Jenkins and husband, David Jenkins, and Joyce McCarthy.
Molly will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that was fortunate enough to have known her, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
