Mary Lee Myers

Funeral services honoring the life of Mary Lee Myers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. David Permenter with Bro. Jimmy Price assisting. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. prior to service time. Interment will be held after the service located at Old Union Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. Mary was born on November 18, 1926 in Benson, Louisiana to Floyd J. Bissell, Sr. and Dovie M. Fisher Bissell. She entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2021 in Mansfield, Louisiana. Preceding Mary are her parents, Floyd and Dovie Bissell; her husband of 54 years, Manuel Myers; her brothers, Floyd (Buster) Bissell, Jr. and Luther Bissell; her son-in-law, David Self; and her grandson, David (Davie) Self. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Sue Self of Shreveport, Louisiana and Carol Ann Price and husband Jimmy of Converse, Louisiana; three grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring Mary as pallbearers will be Jason Price, Tommy Bissell, Rodney Bissell, Jerry Bissell, Greg Bissell, Tommy Swanner, and Chris Swanner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Gideons International or to Beulah Baptist Church.
