Mary Ellen Munn

Funeral services were held for Mary Ella Hickman Munn, 82, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer, Louisiana on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Brain Thurman, officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery in Athens. The family recieved friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM till service time. Mrs. Munn was born July 27, 1931 in Athens to Elmer and Mary Elizabeth Liles Hickman. She entered into rest Friday, May 23, 2014 in Clute, TX following a short illness. Mrs. Munn was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Munn was preceded in death by her parents; also her husband, William W. Munn; one sister, Linda Sims Hickman and one brother, Elmer Hickman, Jr. She is survived by one son, William Munn and one daughter, Cathy Munn Broadway, both of Lake Jackson, TX; and two grandsons, William Michael Munn and William Heath Broadway. For friends considering memorials honoring Mrs. Munn, her family suggests the American Cancer Society.
