Mary Mavalyne (Mav) Moses

Mary Mavalyne (Mav) Woods Moses, 87, passed away February 26, 2021 at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born in Ringgold, Louisiana, moved to upstate New York for many years, moved to Leesburg, Florida in 1994, then moved to Bossier City, Louisiana in 2011. She was an accountant, real estate broker and former Mary Kay Cosmetics Sales Director. Mavalyne was a former parishioner of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida and then of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Bossier City, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernard O. Moses; parents, Bill and Erlyne Woods; brothers, Floyd D. Woods and Lavelle Woods; sisters, Lois Vernell Lee and Ora Dell Hunter; sisters-in-law, Faye G. Woods and Betty Woods; brothers-in-law, Coy Hunter and Durwood Lee; nephew, Ken Lee and niece, Denise Young. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a number of other family relatives and many friends. Graveside services for Mavalyne Moses will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Minden Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Rev.
