Mary Luellen Snow Holmes, age 73, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the comfort of her son’s home.
Born on October 4, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Luellen was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Snow. She graduated from NLR High School in 1970 and enjoyed a distinguished 40-ish-year career as a paralegal, working for several law firms throughout her career.
An avid reader, Luellen found great joy in books and the quiet moments they provided. As a devoted boy mom, she loved sports and especially cherished watching her son play football, baseball, and golf. She was a loyal Arkansas Razorback fan, and when it was time for vacation, there was no place she would rather be than the Destin Beach Club on 30A.
Above all else, Luellen’s greatest joy in life was her family. She had a deep and unwavering love for her son Michael and her two granddaughters, Ella Grey Holmes and Lennon Snow Holmes, who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories they will carry with them forever. She deeply loved her family and friends and will be remembered for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
In addition to her parents, Luellen was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Snow Streeter, and nephew, Dave Streeter.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Michael Richard Holmes; her beloved granddaughters, Ella Grey Holmes and Lennon Snow Holmes, all of Bossier City, Louisiana; her sisters, Charlotte Marcum and her husband, Roger, and Vicki Gottsponer, all of North Little Rock, Arkansas; her brother, Robert “Bob” Snow and his wife, Diana, of Vilonia, Arkansas; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Luellen's love, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through her son, her granddaughters, and the countless lives she touched with her compassion, strength, and love.
Honoring Luellen as pallbearers will be Garrett Daniel Smith, Gaven Carter Smith, Owen Dearasaugh, and Connor McReynolds.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana 71111.
