Mary Susan Gamble

Susan was born in West Virginia to Jim and Mary Barker. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Barker, and her in-laws, Larry and Marge Gamble.  She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Dale; sons, Justin and his wife, Nicole, of King George, VA, and Corey of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Olivia of Houston, TX; sisters Ollie Shaffer and her husband, Johnny, of Mt. Lookout, WV, and Rachel Simone and her husband, Bobby, of Grand Cane, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her role as a wife, a mother, and a grandmother surpassed expectations. Her favorite past time was time spent with her family every chance she could get. She loved fishing, mud riding, playing cards with everyone, reading romance novels, and watching trash tv. She was a kind, giving, and loving soul who never met a stranger and would give the shirt off her back if you needed it. She touched many hearts throughout her life as she had a variety of careers in various locations. She lived her life to the fullest in every moment. She was a wonderful friend, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

As per Susan’s request, no service will be conducted.  She wants to be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and dedication.
