Mary Faye Jacobs

A graveside service for Mary Faye Jacobs, 58, will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jessie Colston. Mary was born on July 29, 1963 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles Lester Colston, Sr. and Louise Mary Ebarb and passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Mary was a resident of Bossier City and a homemaker. She was married to Danny Jacobs for 14 years. She had the biggest heart and would give anyone the shirt off her back. She loved with every fiber in her body. She was extremely passionate about her grandbabies! Mary loved her some Dr. Pepper. She always had one in her hand. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Charles Colston, Sr.; husband, Franklin "Danny" Jacobs; and her brother, Jimmy Ebarb. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Louise Colston; children, Amanda Widner and husband, Jason, Heather Kadar and husband, Brian, Duane Gibson, Chad Gibson, Ashley Hernandez and husband, Erick, and Alexis Jacobs; 12 grandchildren; brother, Lester Colston; sisters, Connie Ezernack, Nancy Whitfield and husband, Guy, Angel Colston, and Alice Dosser; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends. Honoring Mary as pallbearers will be Brian Kadar, Erick Hernandez, Jason Widener, Shane Ezernack, Antonio Hernandez, and Brad Jacobs, III. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Duane Gibson, Chad Gibson, Brandon Harris, and Bobby Harris. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Willis-Knighton Bossier for the wonderful care given to Mary.
