Martha Carolyn James

Funeral services celebrating the life of Martha Carolyn Day James, age 74 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. Ricky Jeane officiating. Interment will follow in the Vivian Cemetery. There will be time of visitation on Monday, January 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. James was born on March 8, 1946 in Vivian, LA to Other M. Day and Martha J. Hall Day and passed away on January 20, 2021. Mrs. James is preceded in death by her parents, Other M. Day and Martha J. Hall Day and her brother, Paul M. Day. Those left to cherish her memory hare her husband, Charles James, daughter, Carol Lynn James Hurst; sons, Jimmy L. James and wife Connie, Todd E. James, Tony S. James, and Jason H. James. Mrs. James is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Hurst, Bradly Hurst, Tia James, Jimmy James, III, Joshua James, David James, Kristina James, Krysla James, Aalana James, 8 great grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
