Martha Elizabeth Humphrey

Funeral Services for Martha Elizabeth Humphrey will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Harrell Shelton associate pastor, assisted by Rev. Terry Young pastor of Airline Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery, Haughton, LA. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Bossier. Martha was born March 17, 1923 in Bossier City, LA and passed away January 24, 2019 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Airline Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Women's Auxilliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, Cooksey Humphrey; parents. Dell and Maddie Southerland; daughter, Colette Benge; brothers, Robert, Dell, Pat and Tom Paul Southerland and sister, Nona Cox. Martha is survived by sons, Joseph Bruce Latshaw, III and wife, Carol Wilson Latshaw of Carrollton, TX, Buster (Louis) Humphrey of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Cherie Lou Rogers and husband, John of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Holly Latshaw, Kaleb Humphrey, Jacob Humphrey, Ian Krauel, Eric Krauel, Gordon Benge, Carole Beth Swan and seven great grandchildren. Honoring Martha as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
