Martha Wilson Clark

Funeral services for Martha W. Clark, 68, will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Brother Tommy Allen, pastor of The Lighthouse.

Martha was born on July 8, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Hoyte Wilson and Delores Goldie Hilburn and passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Shreveport.

Martha was a resident of Shreveport and had retired as a bookkeeper from the grocery store industry. She enjoyed her leisure time at home and enjoyed flower gardening in her spare time.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Stewart. Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Marcey McIntyre; brothers, Phil Wilson and James Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Honoring Martha as pallbearers will be Jason McIntyre, Justin McIntyre, Phil Wilson, Clint Rowlan, Matthew Wilson and Randy Shinault.

The family would like to express special thanks to staff at Christus Highland Hospital, Hospice Grace Home, and Rose at The Guest House for the wonderful care, compassion and love given to Martha in her time of need.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
