He attended Texas State Technical College for training as an electrical line worker. Beau was an apprentice lineman for AEP SWEPCO. One of his proudest accomplishments was his career and service to his local community.

In his free time, Beau enjoyed building and restoring cars with family and friends. He made a public profession of faith and was baptized at age nine at First Baptist Blanchard. The family treasures the memories of Bulldog Football, Byrd Baseball, Northwood Football, mud riding, camping, and family trips to Arkansas and the beach.

Beau was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Ed and Grace McCaleb; his grandfather, his beloved “Pawpaw” Huey P. Long, Jr.; and his aunt, Shirley Lautigar.
