Mark Allan Carr

Mark Allan Carr, 60, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Services for Mark were held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. The son of Dr. and Mrs. Allan Northcutt Carr, he is survived by his mother, Martha Nan Edmonds Carr; his brother, Alfred Fredrick Carr and his sister Dottie Ruesch and husband, Kevin. Mark was a graduate of Captain Shreve High School and attended Louisiana State University- Shreveport. He was a gifted artist, a talent he inherited from his father. He particularly enjoyed carving objects from wood and would search for days seeking just the type of woodgrain he wanted for the object he visualized. The Carr family wishes to extend special thanks to the physicians, nurses and support at Ochsner LSU Medical Center, Southern Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Carpenter House of Shreveport. Thank you for the care and attention Mark received during his time there.
