Mr. Mark Wendell Bryant, of Shreveport, Louisiana, was born on July 16, 1976 to Moses Bryant, Jr. and Gloria Jean Bryant. He passed away on September 17, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mark is survived by his mother Gloria Jean Bryant; siblings, Kenneth Bryant, Darcell Bryant and Stephanie Bryant-Adams (Joshua). He is preceded in death by his father, Moses Bryant, Jr.; twin sisters Kendra and Dendra Bryant; maternal Grandmother, Eveleaner Bullard; and paternal Grandparents, Moses Bryant, Sr. and Ester Lee Bryant.
Mark was a loving son and brother who could affectionately be called Mr. Fix It. He learned from an early age by working closely with his Dad Moses; if it had screws or a racing car motor, he knew exactly what was needed to make sure it was in working order. He would often lavish his Mom Gloria with small trinkets of his affection from jewelry to chewing gum. Mark could also barbecue a steak that could easily be entered into any cooking competition and he also made sure sisters Darcell and Stephanie had plenty to take home after visiting with their parents. He was a carpenter by trade and his many customers became repeat customers due to the quality of his work. He would often show pictures and videos of his latest project. Mark was also a "sneakerhead", who he shared many a detail on feet fashion with his brother-in-law, Josh. Mark was a kind hearted man who would easily give you the shirt off of his back. He had a few friends/family that would keep him on his toes, Margaret Mays, Leroy and Eva Hamilton and Angie Hill.
Those left to grieve this tremendous loss are Uncles, Joe Edward, Willie, Michael, Michael Wayne, Raymond, Calvin; Aunts, Betty, Linda, Deborah, Joy, Verna as well as a host of relatives. Friends like extended family includes Rudolph and Amy Washington, Shari Newman and Makeiah Boyd of Chicago Illinois, Brother Julius Woods and Brother Odie Dotson. A special thanks to the West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and Brother Raymond Mascaux and his wife Patricia.
Honoring Mark as pallbearers will be Kenneth Bryant, Michael Birdsong, Joshua Adams, Rudolph Washington, Avery Washington, Leroy Hamilton, and Odie Dotson.
