Funeral services honoring the life of Marilyn L. Renois will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, Louisiana. Rev. Chucky Clark will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Cassel Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marilyn, 67, of Converse, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022. She was born on June 9, 1955, to Billy Smallwood and Beatrice Golden. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister; but most of all she loved being Mawmaw to her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; dad, Dewey Manshack; sister, Susan Wallace; daughter-in-law, Sandi England; and great nephew, Preston King.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 16 years, Willie “Ed” Renois; sisters, Vanessa Owens, and Theresa Etheridge; brother, Allen King, and wife, Lynn; daughters, Regina Booker, Ashley Booker and husband, George, Sarah Procell and husband, Nathan, Jordan Sullivan, Krystal Bennett, and Cathy Renois; sons, J.R. England, Kenny England, and Steven Renois; special friend, Diane Youngblood; 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of family and friends.
Honoring Marilyn as pallbearers will be Joseph Booker, Melvin Booker, Colton Booker, George Booker, Steven Renois, and Shon King. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen King, Reese Youngblood, Melvin Booker, and Jedidiah McDonald.
