Shreveport, LA- A Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn Peske, 75, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Phil Michaels. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. A Vigil will start at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marilyn was born on April 16, 1939 to Sam and Dorothy DeFatta in Shreveport, Louisiana. She passed away on March 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by husband, Frank Lyle Peske, daughters, Denise Dews and husband Benjamen, Lisa McBride and husband Anthony, Lorie Sekinger and husband Edward, grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Garrett Nelson and wife Ashley, Jaime Nelson and fiancé Pat Oxholm, Claire McBride, Emma Sekinger, and Adam Sekinger, Great grandchild, Cora Nelson, sibling, Jo Carol Martin, special cousins, Mary Pearce, Sara Lou Poppell and John DeFatta, Jr.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Andrew Smith, Dr. Garrett Nelson, Benjamen Dews, Dr. Anthony McBride, Dr. Edward Sekinger, and John DeFatta, Jr.
