Marilyn Rains Boggs

Funeral services celebrating the life of Marilyn Rains Boggs will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Methodist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Dr. Randy Hales officiating. A graveside will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Friday, May 22, 2026, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Marilyn was born August 18, 1948, in Natchitoches, Louisiana and passed from this earthly life into the arms of Jesus on May 14, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Rolly and Fred Beryl McGehee Rains, brothers Jerry, Joe, Paul, Roger, and Von Rains, sister Martha Rains Bergeron, and stepdaughter, Marcie Landrum.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Boggs, son, Justin Rains, daughter, Emily Rains, stepdaughter, Aimee St Claire, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, etc.

Pallbearers will be Hart Peters, Nicholas Peters, Holli Peters, Rhonda Peters, Randy Rogers, and Todd McCormack.
