Marie G. Wells

A memorial Mass for Marie G. McLaughlin Wells, 95, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at St. Michael's Chapel behind the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, 939 Jordan St., Shreveport, LA 71101 with Rev. Kevin Mues officiating. Marie was born on August 27, 1924 in Lucinda, PA to Fred and Loretta Griebel and went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2019. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Benjamin McLaughlin; second husband of 18 years, Fred Wells; stepdaughter, Sara Wells Terrell; and stepson, Danny R. Wells, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marcia McLaughlin Wallace and husband Beau; grandson, Chris; stepchildren, Rick Wells and wife Sue, Cindy Wells Carter and husband Mike, and Susan Wells Todd and husband Dennis; 10 step-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
