Marie Stone-Richmond

Funeral services for Marie Stone-Richmond will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at West Lake Baptist Church in Doyline, Louisiana with Deana Dennis Elliott and Bro. Mike Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at West Lake Cemetery in Doyline under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden.

Marie was born January 18, 1937, and entered into rest November 11, 2022, in Conroe, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward M. Stone and Carl R. Richmond; brothers David R. Brown and George A. Brown; and sisters, Diane Brown Sivils and Dorothy Brown Branch.

She is survived by her sons, Richard C. Stone of Conroe, TX and Stephen M. Stone of Vidor, TX; daughter, Paula Dennis of Conroe, TX; sisters, Patricia Brown Harrell (Charles) of Collinston. LA and Betty Brown Marrow of Jonesboro, LA; brother, S.L. Branch of Doyline, LA; grandchildren, 10; great grandchildren, 11; and a great number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tucker Stone, Noah Stone, Richard Stone, Jr., Dawson Stone, Miles Stone, and John Elliott.

Honorary pallbearer will be her nephew, Allen Brown.
